Abigail Bullion is the protagonist of Disney Kingdoms: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. She is the daughter of Barnabas T. Bullion, the owner of the Big Thunder Mining Company, and is briefly a member of a Robin Hood-esque bandit gang.
Background[edit | edit source]
After the death of her mother, Abigail Bullion moved out to Rainbow Ridge to live with her father, Barnabas T. Bullion. Despite his wishes for her to be a prim and proper lady, she was free-spirited and craved adventure.
One day, she sneaked into the mines, dressed as a man, to see what was going on down there. She was saved by a masked bandit, before he ran off with the gold from the mountain. She went chasing after the bandits, getting herself captured by them in the process. She’s forced to travel with them - the group consisting of Chandler, Dolfo, and Onawa - until she managed to get the upper hand on Chandler, and escaped with what she presumed was the stolen gold.
When they found out she double-crossed them, she was taken down to the mines, and discovered how horrid the conditions were. She tried to talk her father out of it, but he wouldn’t listen. So, she ran off and joined the bandits, stealing the gold from the mountain. She was caught by mine’s foreman, Willikers, but ran down to the mines to save her father. She helped steer the mine trains out of Big Thunder Mountain, and saved the miners in the process. Abigail reconciled with her father and started a romantic relationship with Chandler.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Disney Kingdoms: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is only inspired by the attraction. Parts of the comics story contradicts the attraction’s storyline, such as Jason Chandler being a miner and bandit instead of an inventor and a friend of Bullion. Therefore, it’s unknown whether or not Abigail is a part of the attraction’s universe. Nothing contradicts her existence, but no references to her exist in the attraction.
