British Colonial Affairs was active from 1935-1936 during Indiana Jones' excavation of the Temple of the Forbidden Eye in the Lost Delta of India. From a distance, they oversaw the Lost Delta Archaeological Expedition and Sallah Tours conducted to obtain money from the tourist-trade.

It is likely that British Colonial Affairs ceased existence c. 1945 after World War 2 due to a combination of war efforts taking a toll on the British empire and the Nazi party having exposed the world to the harshness of imperialism.

Tropical Imports[]

A crate sent from Indiana Jones in the Lost Delta to the, "British colonial affairs" of India is amongst Tropical Imports' cargo.[2] During the The Summer of Hidden Mysteries event, Indiana would have shows on the roof of Tropical Imports.[3]

  • It is possible that Colonel Blumbard is intended to be the same character as Colonel Blumbert, a character from the Skipper Survival Guide which was created to tie the Temple of the Forbidden Eye to the Jungle Cruise. Blumbert was the original owner of the boathouse in the Lost Delta which was later purchased by the Jungle Navigation Company to serve as their Indian headquarters. It could also be tied to Captain Phillip James Blumburtt, a British colonial in India from Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom.
