Castaway Cay is a private-island used by the Disney Cruise Line.

In the 1920s, Castaway Cay was happened upon by three explorers named Cecil "Wormy" Chamberlain, his protégée  Max Profitt, and "Doc" E'Lan Vital along with one Captain Morton. Chamberlain came to the island wanting to discover the fossilized remains of a prehistoric sperm-whale at what would later be called, "Monstro Point", Profitt wished to salvage 300 year-old shipwrecks for treasure, and Vitale was on a search for the Fountain of Youth.

However, these sailors and explorers decided to settle in the Cay due to how beautiful it was. They would come to establish connections with aviators and other sailors to use Castaway Cay as a stop for different travellers.
