The Disneyodendron trees are very large tropical trees with expanding, sturdy branches, and ever blooming flowers and leaves. The name Disneyodendron is latin for, "Disney Trees", named presumably for Walt Disney.
Known Species[]
Disneyodendron: This unclassified variant of the tree was native to the Polynesian Isles of the Pacific Ocean and was distinguished by its perpetually blooming fiery-coloured flowers.[1]
"The Tree of Life" on Discovery Island
Disneyodendron eximus: This species of Disneyodendron was native to the East-Indies with the only known species being located on the island of New Switzerland.[2] Its name is latin for "Extraordinary Disney Tree" or, "Out of the Ordinary Disney Tree".
Disneyodendron semperflorens Gigantis: This species of tree was native to the island of Discovery Island either in South America or in Africa. It is the largest of the known Disneyodendrons and has been given, "The Tree of Life" being a harbour for animals of every species (particularly bugs), and has wood growths resembling animals. Its name is latin for, "Gigantic ever-blooming Disney tree".
Disneyodendron semperflorens grandis: This Disneyodendron is native to the Congo basin of Africa. It's name is latin for, "Large ever-blooming Disney tree".[3]
In this game, the Treehouse Juju is earned by finding petroglyphs in Tarzan's Treehouse's tree trunk. The Juju itself is modelled after the Swiss family treehouse from the film.
An article in this newspaper by "Tallahassee” Glover reports on how the Adventure Trading Company's newly found, "Treehouse Juju" can be used to decode the ancient petroglyphs of the treehouse. In this article, José from Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room was consulted to little avail with Shrunken Ned also being consulted and responding, "Ah yes, I’ve seen this Juju before, I used to have one. I would wear it around my neck. Bus as you can see, that has become rather hard these days!".
Disney's Animal Kingdom[]
The park icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom is a Disneyodendron semperflorens grandis known as, "The Tree of Life". It also holds the A Bug's Life themed attraction, "It's Tough to be a Bug!".
In the non-cannon Tales from Adventureland: The Golden Paw, the treehouse is found abandoned in the Congo where it is being used by the Collective, the books' main antagonist group. In this book the tree's species is referred to as the, "Yesniddendron semperflorens grandis" with Yesnid being an anagram of Disney.
Shrunken Ned was consulted in the Daily Gnus on the discovery of petroglyphs at the base of Tarzan's Treehouse.

In the Skipper Canteen, there is an employee of the Jungle Navigation Company named Skipper Bill who is in charge of Plant Studies.[4] This is a reference to botanist and Disney Imagineer Bill Evans who named the Disneyodendron trees.[5]
