Lincoln Costain is a character from the film The Castaway Cowboy (1974).
History[]
Lincoln Costain was a Texan cowboy during the mid 19th century. He would come to be shanghaied in San Francisco and relocated to the island of Kauai in Hawaii. On the island he courted the widow Henrietta MacAvoy and taught islanders cowboy culture to increase the yield of their cattle industry.
