Michael is one of the four masters of ceremony in Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.

History[]

Michael is the green, yellow, and white parrot with an British accent. He is the most straightlaced of the group, not cracking as many jokes as his co-hosts and warning everyone of the Tiki god’s wrath.

Appearances and allusions[]

Magic of Disney Animation[]

A poster for the movie Mouse Pacific (a tribute to the film South Pacific) has Minnie Mouse in-front of the Enchanted Tiki Room. The screenplay writer, producer, choreographer and conductor are listed as Michael Burley, Jose Boag, Fritz Ravenscroft, and Pierre Newton with Michael, Hose, Fritz and Pierre being the names of the four birds from the Tiki Room, their surnames are taken from their respective performers. It is unclear if these four are supposed to be pseudonymous with the birds or simply easter-eggs.[1]
