Nigel Greenwater is an unseen but heard character from the Jungle Cruise.
History[]
Nigel Greenwater was British man who became an employee of the Jungle Navigation Company since 1930. He was one of the first employees to establish themselves in the company's Mekong outpost. Greenwater would encourage his co-workers to invest in short-wave radio systems to bring in business for their outposts.
When the JNC became successful due to the Jungle Cruise and discovery of the nearby Temple of the Forbidden Eye, Greenwater became the radio-announcer for the Global Broadcasting Service; an international radio-broadcasting service run by Greenwater himself through the Greenwater Production Company which had been founded in 1928. He and his broadcasting service hold some affiliation with the also internationally distributed Jungle Navigation Company with Nigel often relaying messages for its employees, staff and customers.

An advertisement in the Daily Gnus tied reads, "The Global Broadcasting Service, Broadcasting Globally around the Globe since 1928, Greenwater Production Co.".
Jungle Cruise[]
In Disneyland's Jungle Cruise, Nigel Greenwater is the radio-announcer heard within the queue. This making him Disneyland's counterpart to Albert Awol.[1] He mentions several features of the Jungle Cruise and Adventureland including Schweitzer Falls, Tropical Imports, the Lost Safari, gorillas and Trader Sam to name a few.

Skipper Survival Guide[]
The Skipper Survival Guide mentions Nigel as having been a JNC employee since 1930 when the company first established themselves along the Mekong River.
Skipper Canteen[]
Nigel Greenwater has a book titled, "Survival in the Entertainment Jungle" in the Skipper Canteen's library.[2] A 1936 trophy for, "Announcer of the Year" is located in a display case in the canteen. Greenwater can occasionally be heard as a patron of the canteen in the mess hall.[3]
