Disney's Oceaneer Lab is a play-area on the ships of the Disney Cruise Line. It can be found on the Disney Wonder, Disney Magic, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy. It is named after Captain Mary Oceaneer and based on her ship, the RV Oceaneer Lab.
Backstory[]
Mary Oceaneer's first ship was the RV Oceaneer Lab, which set sail on its maiden voyage in 1898. It was the base for her deep-sea adventures and treasure hunting expeditions.

The S.E.A. member Captain Mary Oceaneer was a lover of pirates and the golden age of piracy. Amongst her excavated goods were the Dead Man's Chest and also crates which indicate that she performs excavations from Shipwreck Cove and Isla de Muerta, locations from the films.[1]
Tower of Terror[]
In the lab are newspapers from when the Hotel Hightower opened, a newspaper detailing Hightower's disappearance, and the portrait of the S.E.A. within Hotel Hightower from before Harrison's demise.
Typhoon Lagoon[]
In Typhoon Lagoon is the attraction Miss Adventure Falls which likewise revolves around Captain Oceaneer later in the timeline.
