Rose Sayer is a character from the 1951 non-Disney film The African Queen and 1935 novel of the same name by C.S. Forester of which it was based.

History[]

Appearances and allusions[]

Bengal Barbecue[]

A photograph of Rose and Charlie riding the Jungle Cruise boat the Zambezi Miss in-search of the trapped safari of the African veldt can be seen in this restaurant. This is a reference to how the Jungle Cruise was partially inspired by the African Queen film.

With them is a stuffed(?) Albert the monkey from Mystic Manor and a portrait of Jungle Navigation Company founder Dr. Albert Falls. While the relationship between the couple and Dr. Falls is unknown, it should be noted that Allnut and Dr. Falls would have likely been active around the same time (late 1910s) and both operated around the same region with similar occupations.

Connections[]

Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar[]

There is a letter sent from Charlie Allnut to Trader Sam, the proprietor of the bar. It tells him to avoid the JNC boat the Ucayali Una and to ask him the next time he requires river-passage.
