The Ticket Seller, frequently identified with the name Ezra is a character from Phantom Manor.
History[]
This man lived in Thunder Mesa, Arizona during the mid 19th century. He worked as a ticket-seller when Thunder Mesa was hit by a massive earthquake which collapsed a portion of the town into the haunted Phantom Canyon. The Ticket Seller's corpse became undead in the canyon where it continued its job as ticket-seller in the ghost town.

Thunder Mesa's earthquake was the result of the Big Thunder Mining Company's exploitation of Big Thunder Mountain.

The only known railroad connecting to Thunder Mesa is the Disneyland Railroad.
Haunted Mansion[]
The Ticket Seller's head is the, "Leering Head" mould from the Haunted Mansion used for the Hatbox Ghost, some pop-up ghosts and the skeletal hitchhiking ghost. The name Ezra is an allusion to the skeletal hitchhiking ghost whose semi-official name is Ezra.
Trader Sam's[]
The "Shrunken Zombie Head" mugs at Trader Sam's are modelled after the leering head.
